At this point in your process, you may want to consult a mortgage professional. This person would look at your income, your assets, and what monthly carrying costs you are comfortable paying. This review will confirm how much of a mortgage loan you qualify for. At the risk of oversimplifying, then, your loan amount plus your down payment equals your purchase price point.
